The recently-formed AFL Members Association launches its new web page today.  AFLMA.com is the next step in our campaign to start a constructive dialogue with AFL and get a better deal for members”, said Mr Michael Agrotis, AFLMA Media Spokesman.

The AFLMA was formed in response to members' concerns about how the AFL is looking after membership entitlements.  The association serves to promote the interests of the 50,000 AFL Members who are among football’s most loyal supporters.

“The site enables AFL Members to join the AFLMA on line”, said Mr Agrotis, “It is free, and open to any financial AFL Member, whether full, restricted or absentee”.

AFLMA.com also features discussion forums, a press section, weekly newsletters and a section on “5 common misconceptions about AFL membership”.

“In the press and on talkback radio AFL members are sometimes thought of as corporate silvertails”, said Mr Agrotis, “In fact, AFL Membership is open to anyone.  Members come from all walks of life, and include supporters of all 16 AFL teams.  We’re simply united by our passion for Australian Rules Football and our love of watching the game – including finals – live.”
